Jennifer has been employed with Emory Valley Center since 2001. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Prior to coming to Emory Valley Center Jennifer was a Direct Support Professional, Vocational Rehabilitation Case Manager, Independent Support Coordinator and held various management positions in the retail industry.  Jennifer has held several different positions while at Emory Valley Center including Professional Services Director, Residential Services Director and is currently the President. As President, Jennifer maintains a high-quality person-centered program in accordance with the mission, vision, values and standards of Emory Valley Center. She ensures compliance with requirements of all funding sources and local, state, and federal laws and regulations as it pertains to Company operations. She provides leadership that fosters effective teamwork, positive staff morale and excellent customer service and directly supervises the Development Director, Vice President of Finance, Senior Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Professional Services, Vice President of Children’s Services, Human Resources Director and Facilities Director.

Crystal worked for Emory Valley Center for six years in the late 90’s and early 2000’s and has been back at the center since 2004. Crystal graduated from Tusculum College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management with a concentration in Human Resources and a Master of Arts in Organizational Training and Performance Management. Crystal has held many positions at Emory Valley Center including: Direct Support Professional, Personal Assistant, Day Services Assistant, Day Case Manager, Case Manager, Program Manager, HCBS Case Manager, Incident Management Coordinator, Quality Assurance Director. She is currently the Senior Vice President of Operations and oversees the Directors in the various locations, as well as all programs and development associated within. Crystal ensures that all contract compliance and matters of licensure and quality assurance are met as required by local government ordinances, federal standards and state practices. She oversees all area programs to ensure person-centered designed inclusive programs and self-determination for people with disabilities while ensuring quality services are provided according to state contracts and the Council on Quality Leadership standards.

Kristen has been employed with Emory Valley Center since 2013. Kristen is a Licensed Practical Nurse and earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration from King University. Kristen started her career in the field of disabilities in 2000 as a Direct Support Professional working for an agency in Iowa. During her tenure there she was a Site Coordinator, Program Manager, and Quality Improvement Manager. While at Emory Valley Center, Kristen worked as a Case Manager and was the Quality Assurance Director before promoting to her current position. As the Vice President of Professional Services, Kristen is responsible for all areas Quality Assurance, Business Development, and Professional Services.

Bryan joined Emory Valley Center in 2022 after being a volunteer and foundation board member for several years. Prior to coming to Emory Valley Center, he was an auditor for 3 years and the Chief Fiscal Officer at a community action agency for 9 years. Bryan is a certified public accountant and a certified fraud examiner.  His primary responsibilities are to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance and provide reports to the stakeholders of Emory Valley Center.

Anna Moore

Anna has been employed with Emory Valley Center since 2010. She started as an assistant director for the home and community-based Early Intervention program. Anna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Development and has worked in the field of Early Childhood for the past 25 years. Her experience includes working with children and families in a domestic violence shelter, assisting as an Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist for children with autism, working with Head Start and Early Head Start programs as both an education coordinator and disabilities coordinator, supervising classroom and home-based teachers, and consultant work as a behavior coach for teachers working with children two to five years of age in childcare centers in North Carolina. Currently, Anna is the Vice President of Children’s Services, and supervises a 14 county region for early intervention services including services for over 500 families. In addition, she oversees operations for the Early Learning Center.

Aaron joined Emory Valley Center in 2023. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee in 2004 and has worked in the nonprofit sector for over 10 years. He has served as a development professional for the Boy Scouts of America, InterFaith Health Center, and MEDIC Regional Blood Center. During his time in the nonprofit sector, he has helped raise funds to support health, education, and youth activities. As Director of Development, he oversees fundraising, communication, public relations and represents EVC at community events. Layla was employed with Emory Valley Center for seven years in the early 2000’s, she returned to work as the Residential Services Director in 2014 and is now the Operations Director. Layla holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and prior to coming to Emory Valley Center, Layla worked as a Direct Support Professional. Layla has held many positions while at Emory Valley Center including Case Manager, Program Supervisor, Professional Services Director, Assistant Residential Services Director and Residential Services Director.

Kevin Hicks

Kevin has been employed with Emory Valley Center since 2007.  He graduated from Pellissippi State Community College with an Associate of Science degree in Interior Design Technology. Kevin began his career path by working as a laborer for a plastering contractor in 1993. Over the next several years he progressed to an apprentice learning the trade, and advanced to a journeyman plasterer. He continued working for plastering contractors in the role of plaster foreman. After more than 10 years in the plastering trade, Kevin went to work for a high-end custom home builder continuing to learn different trades and then moving into their service and maintenance department. Kevin has held several roles with Emory Valley Center, including: Maintenance Foreman, Maintenance and Transportation Coordinator and was promoted in 2017 to Facilities Director. As the Facilities Director, Kevin supervises the maintenance and custodial staff and is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all Emory Valley Center properties and vehicles.

Workforce Innovation Director

Miranda Kelley began her career at Emory Valley Center in 2017. She began working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in 2013 as well as with seniors and adults with physical disabilities. She has held many roles at EVC, including positions in Employment and Community First, as a Personal Assistant and a Direct Support Professional. She has been the Operations Specialist, Community Innovation Manager, Community Innovation Director, before accepting her current position as the Workforce Innovation Director. Miranda is a certified Enabling Technology Integration Specialist through SHIFT, certified by TRN in job coaching and consulting, and Certified in the new Medicaid Alternative Pathways to independence (MAPs) program. As the Workforce Innovation Director, she oversees Community Participation, Enabling Technology, and Workforce programs, as well as the new MAPs program.

Brittany joined Emory Valley Center in 2022. She has a Bachelor of Science in Human Services with a concentration in child development from East Tennessee State University and has over 15 years of experience in the field of early childhood education. Before joining the Emory Valley Center, she was assistant director at a childcare center in Knoxville. As the Early Learning Center Director, Brittany is responsible for ensuring the Early Learning Center provides an inclusive and high-quality learning environment characterized by family centered services, training and supervising the Early Learning Center staff, and supporting the staff in the implementation and maintenance of the Department of Human Services licensing regulations and the center for the Social and Emotional Foundations of Early Learning Practices.

Michele has been employed with Emory Valley Center since 2020 when she began as a Case Manager in the Professional Services Department. She started her Nursing career in 2005 after graduating from Clark State Community College in Springfield, Ohio and worked in Long Term Care and Skilled Nursing. When she and her family moved to Tennessee in 2010, she obtained her Nursing License and continued working as an LPN. Michele was promoted to the Professional Services Director in April 2022.

Regina has been employed with Emory Valley Center since 2010 when she began working in the Supported Employment department as a Job Coach. She was promoted to the Community Enrichment Manager in 2011, promoted again to Special Services Assistant Director in 2013, and in 2015, was promoted to the Director of Family Support. Regina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Middle Tennessee State University with concentrations in Youth Offender Rehabilitation, Sociology and Psychology. As the Family Support Director, Regina is responsible for the Family Support Program which serves more than 450 families in an 11-county area.

Chase Davenport has been employed with Emory Valley Center since 2016. She started as a Developmental Therapist for the home and community-based Early Intervention program. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and a Master’s degree in Child and Family Studies from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Chase started her career working at Head Start as a lead teacher then moved to being a Service Coordinator for Tennessee Early Intervention System. Since 2016, Chase has been part of the EVC Early Intervention team by being in a leadership role where she has trained and supported new employees. Chase presently serves as a board member on the State of Tennessee’s Interagency Coordinating Council, holds an Infant Mental Health Endorsement through AIMHiTN and is a certified interviewer for CQL. Currently, she is the Director of Early Intervention where her primary responsibilities are to supervise the Early Intervention team to ensure the programs use of best practices in early intervention and she supports the TRIAD (Treatment and Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders) specialist and project.

Tiffany has been employed with Emory Valley Center since 2015. She graduated from Tusculum University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Management and a Master of Arts degree in Education with a concentration in Human Resource Development. Tiffany is a Senior Certified Professional with the Society for Human Resource Management. Prior to joining Emory Valley Center, Tiffany worked in recruitment, labor relations, worker’s comp, and payroll for ten years in the manufacturing, staffing, and communications industries. Tiffany has held several different positions in Emory Valley Center’s Human Resources department, including Recruiter, HR Manager, HR Assistant Director, and she is currently the acting HR Director. In her role, she is accountable for enabling a diverse and valued group of staff, ideas, and perspectives to build a foundation of optimal growth and success for the organization. She ensures compliance with company, local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to labor and workplace safety. Tiffany provides leadership with regard to HR functions and administers all human resources programs, policies, practices, and benefits.
