Emory Valley Center seeks entry level and experienced Direct Support Professionals to provide assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and in the community. Full time with benefits to include insurance and retirement plan. Paid training provided! Part time positions also available. Requirements: Minimum age 18, TN driver license with acceptable driving record, negative drug screen, and acceptable background check. Starting pay for entry level positions is $9.50 per hour with an increase to $10 per hour after training completion. Emory Valley Center seeks people with experience in direct support to manage the daily support of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as their staff, in a residential setting. Home Managers must have open availability to be able to provide shift coverage in the home in accordance with staffing needs. Home Managers assist in training of direct support staff, scheduling, groceries & supplies shopping for the location, processing monthly transportation & finance reports, and ensuring proper documentation of support is conducted for billing purposes. ECF Staff- Full Time Emory Valley Center seeks staff to work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, providing support in their private homes and in the community. Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is required. Work can be in Knox, Anderson, Campbell, Roane, Morgan, or Scott counties and the ability to work in at least 2 counties is also required for this position. ECF Staff use their personal vehicle for work, so vehicle must be able to pass an inspection and the applicant must have a minimum of liability auto insurance for the vehicle. Work can be during day or evening hours and requires availability to work any day of the week between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 12 a.m.. Pay is $9.50-10 hourly plus mileage reimbursement. Community Support Specialist/Program Director- Full Time The agency seeks a Community Support Specialist (CSS) to provide support in its residential program. This is a full time, salaried position. The incumbent will use best practices and technology to assist, train and supervise people with intellectual & developmental disabilities in activities of daily living incorporating person-centered practices. The incumbent will actively actively work to align Operations with Company goals and DIDD/ Managed Care Organization (MCO) initiatives which advance the care and coordination of services for people supported. The incumbent will also serve as an advocate and liaison for and on the behalf of the person supported. The CSS supervises Home Managers and Direct Support Professionals on their caseload and are responsible for after-hours on-call duties for their caseload. The CSS takes part in the interview process to select staff for the residential program. Requirements: This position requires 4 years of experience in the DIDD field or a related field and a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Associate or Bachelor degree preferred. Operations Specialist- Full Time The agency seeks an Operations Specialist to provide support to its Operations Team. The Operations Specialist will be responsible for the following duties: Maintains the referral database for all programs, Contacts the referrals to schedule the initial “meet and greet” with the person supported or family, Meets with person’s supported requesting services and provides a realistic preview of the agency and a description of the services, Discusses services and the processes to obtain resources in the community via phone when necessary or at resource fairs in the community, Identifies rental properties in the community where person’s supported desire to live that is affordable for those receiving services and coordinates the move-in process, Assists and advocates for the person supported throughout the transition process and completes the appropriate documentation, Responsible for Admission and Discharge and Technology meetings and maintaining meeting minutes, and Identifies persons supported who would be candidates for Technology to assist in their ability to gain independence.
